We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Iceland’s unique herbal company, Urta Islandica ehf. Urta Islandica offer hand-picked Icelandic herbs which are blended with salt and flavoured salts. They also offer teas, charcoal and angelica herb crackers, rhubarb and blueberry chutneys and sultas as well as a range of unique fruit syrups for use in drinks, soft cocktails, pancakes and ice cream. Icespiration now use the following as part of its unique meal plan:
Icelandic Immersion Experience
-Soft Icelandic cocktails: crowberry, rowanberry, wild berry juices
-Icelandic Tapas: angelica herb and charcoal crackers with rhubarb chutney and blueberry and chilli sulta, carpaccio of Greenland halibut, carpaccio of wild trout with lava salt, carpaccio of salmon with dill & sea kelp salt, geothermal rye bread with smoked lamb and salmon with remoulade
-Fillet of Salmon marinaded with rhubarb chutney with angelica, seasoned with black pepper and kelp & garlic salt, garnished with hazlenut chips (home made recipe from the family of Urta Islandica).
-Slow cooked leg of lamb in red wine and garlic jus
-Geothermally baked banana, rhubarb, date, apple & cinnamon bread with butterWe will shortly add photos of the products Icespiration is now using in the meals.
